For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. – 1 Corinthians 14:33
God wants what’s best for us – but, sin separates us from Him. It’s our sinful nature that craves chaos, division, and strife amongst ourselves. It’s because of our sinful nature that wars and turmoil have plagued our history.
And because of our sinful nature, there will be no lasting peace.
God cares for us and loves us – He sent His only Son to the fallen world.
It is through Jesus, will man find true peace.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. – Colossians 3:15
Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains He shall break
For the slave is our brother
And in His Name
All oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy
In grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy Name – O Holy Night song

Much easier it would have been
to take a sterner course,
wipe it clean and start again
beginning with a talking horse,
but God does keep His covenants,
no extinction now by bath
of us, His proud investments,
and so He chose another path.
We are born to mortal sin,
though the apple of His eye,
and the only way to win
our souls was that Christ had to die
stooped by the burden of our shame,
the only way to clear our name.
