FMF – Five Minute Friday
“The main feature of Five Minute Friday is our weekly blog link-up. Each week I provide a one-word prompt, and we all set our timers and write for five minutes flat, then post our writing on our respective blogs and link up our offerings on that week’s Five Minute Friday post. Click here to learn more about how the link-up works.” – Kate Motaung

They say I’m Christ’s ambassador,
to represent His calling,
but I hope He’s really sure,
because I’m quite appalling
when I spread the Gospel thing;
I can’t find words for what I mean,
phrases to take noble wing
in God’s empyrean.
What I say is pale and trite,
to make a reader yawn.
Oh, that I could bring delight!
Speak of the coming dawn
that will herald His own day
when hate and tears are washed away.
