**Author’s Note: I am participating in a month-long blogging challenge of daily prompts. Today’s word – Imperturbable. I actually had to look up the meaning of this word since I’ve never heard of it before. :) It means “marked by extreme calm, and steadiness; serene.” (Merriam-Webster)**

I used to have
Nerves of steel
But even the most
Iron of wills
Break
Now, I find myself
In a constant state of
Doubt, fear
My hands, tremble
My faith, failing
Hope?
I’ve lost that
–somewhere
But – YOU
You never gave up
On me
Somehow, in the darkest of
Dark
You sought me out
And pulled me
Back to the
Light
You are my
Rock
The One who never
Falters
Psalm 18:2 –
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

It’s a new word on me too! I liked how you dealt with it though. Coming from the challenge
