And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. — Luke 11:9–10
What is the whole point of being a Christian?
To live your life not for yourself, but for God. This has been made possible by and through the life and sacrifice of His son, Jesus.
As Christians, we are to live a life following God’s commands and the example of Jesus. To do any of this requires us to be an active participant — not passive.
We are to continually be engaged with God through the reading of the Scripture, and living them out so that others may see Him through our actions.
Life as a Christian is an engaging one. It’s not about religious practices but about our relationship with God. A relationship that’s about love, trust, and obedience. A relationship in which we are in constant engagement with Him.
It’s truly a beautiful thing to be a part of.
