Passage: John 3:16 #Inspirational #Scripture

Today is March 16th. What better day is there than to read and meditate on one of the most quoted verses of the Bible?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (ESV)

For as well known as this verse is, do people really know what the words mean?

Within these words are the very purpose of why we are here. These words hold the answer as to what happens to each of us when life ends.

This verse is the centerpiece of the Christian faith – the cornerstrone upon which everything else has been built upon.

Its message is about the gift given to us by God – the gift of Salvation through His son, Jesus.

Why do we need this salvation?

Because we, the world, are a fallen creation due to a fatal disease called sin. It’s a disease that no one is spared.

The cure?

John 3:16. The numbers of hope.
