Passage: Romans 11:1-5 #Inspirational #Scripture #ChosenPeople #Israel #Christians #Remnant

I ask, then, has God rejected His people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. – Romans 11:1-5

As we watch the military drama unfold in the Middle East, as more are turning against Israel, we can’t help but wonder what the end result will be. Would Israel be left standing? Or will Israel be removed altogether as a nation?

No matter what happens, there will always be a remnant.

History has shown time after time, nations tried to eliminate the Jewish people. Each time, they failed.

God always protected the Jews who remained faithful to Him.  There will always be a remnant, no matter what.

The same goes for all Believers.

The world in which we live is growing darker. More dangerous. Especially for those who are the chosen people of God (this includes both Jews and Christians).  No matter what the world does to us, God will always preserve a remnant – until that day Jesus comes to take us all home.
