The Eternal Gift

For God so loved the world, He gave us His only Son who willingly sacrificed Himself to save us from eternal death.

In order to do this, Jesus had to come to Earth as a man.

To save us, He had to become human and to offer up Himself in our place as a sacrificial Lamb to God. His blood had to be spilled through the torturous punishment and execution of crucifixion. As He bled on that cross, He became SIN and suffered the ultimate loneliness where even God, His father, could no longer look on Him.

And as we all must face one day, Jesus suffered death.

Why would He do this? Go through all the pain and suffering associated with being human?

It was the only way to save us. And because He loves us and longed for us to be reconciled to God, He willingly gave up everything. Including His own life.

It’s a gift He is offering to every one of us.  To remove the power sin has on us, to give us eternal life, to give us the true peace that nothing and no one on earth will ever be able to do.

Will you accept His gift of Salvation?

Won’t you accept Him into your heart and be set free from your burden?

Romans 10:9-10

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
