Today

Christmas means

Black Friday stampedes

Glitters and festivities

Stress, mess, and distress

Where’s the joy and the wonder

Of what this season’s truly about?

Christmas should be

A time of reflection

Remembrance

Of the ultimate gift

To mankind

In form of a baby

The bringer of true peace

And good will to all

A-men.

Luke 2: 10-14:
