Psalm 96:11-12

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.

I’m all about having a view out of my windows! It’s a bonus when you’re in the country where we have fields on all sides of us.

At the moment, these fields are brimming with matured wheat and soybeans – ready for harvest.

Farmers have begun to harvest one of them yesterday.

Harvest season is one of my fave time of the year. I enjoy watching the many processes that go into the act of harvesting a crop.

It always amazed me of all the things that God created – and the harvest season would remind me as to how blessed we are to be called His children. It’s a reminder as to how He provides for our every need through all He’d created and placed on this earth. And not just for our benefit, but as a vivid reminder of His wondrous glory and creativity.

Revelation 4:11

Worthy are You, our Lord, and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.
