I. Mindset Reset 2022: What Have You Set Before You?

About a year ago this time, I discovered a gem of a podcast for my daily devotionals – Carey Green’s Morning MIndset.

He’s currently running a series (this week only) which I’m using to prepare myself for the new year.

Day One is What Have You Set Before You?

Psalm 16:8 –

I have set the Lord always before me;

because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

My theme for 2022 is intentional.

Like David, I need to be intentional in setting the Lord first in everything that I do.

With the way things have been the past few years, it is so easy to lose sight of this and become swept up in the chaos and confusion of this world!

Since I discovered the Morning MIndset, I have intentionally set aside time each morning to listen to an episode. It’s usually over coffee and breakfast. My guys are usually at work or still asleep.

It also helps that I’m a morning person and my guys are not. :)

Aside from doing the daily devotionals, I want to commit to writing for this blog – at minimum once a week. I believe the Lord gave me the gift of writing for a purpose, and I want to honor this above my other creative endeavors first.
