Fear Not

I tend to be ruled by my emotions.

Fear is one of them.

Does that make me a weak person?

I try to live by faith.

Some days this is more difficult than others.

Does this make me a weak Christian?

All I can say is this –

God knows my heart

And how much I try

In a world

That exploits fear

He alone

Keeps me safe

And directs my path

So, whenever I’m besieged

By fear and doubts

To my knees I fall

For He alone can provide

Peace and refuge

In a world gone mad

Philippians 4: 6, 7 – ⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
