When Fear & Anxiety Threaten

Even for the most faithful and strong, the events of the past eighteen months or so have taken a toll.

Our freedom, our way of life, and our beliefs are under constant threat of being take away if we don’t comply to certain lifestyles, views, or mandates.

Fear and anxiety begin to seep into our lives – and if we’re not being mindful of them, can overwhelm us.

Here are a few verses to keep with you during these troubled times:

“But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.” 1 Peter 3:14

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” John 14:27

“If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you”. John 15:19
